Use a mirror to properly place the treatment tip on a pimple and to make sure the tip remains in constant contact with the pimple during treatment.

Be sure to place, not push, Pulsar against the pimple. Extra pressure is not needed.

Please note that facial hair may prevent full and complete contact with the pimple. It is important to have full and constant contact with the pimple during the treatment cycle.

If your skin is light, you may be more likely to have redness around the treatment area. In almost all cases, such redness is normal and should not cause alarm. If you experience an adverse reaction, stop using Pulsar and contact your health care professional.

In order to prevent infection, thoroughly clean Pulsar's treatment tip before and after each use, especially if used by more than one person. Use a damp, soft, lint-free cloth and a mild alcohol-free detergent to clean the Pulsar treatment tip. Note: Do not immerse device in water at any time.

The battery that comes with the device lasts for about 70 treatment cycles.

When your Pulsar battery is running low, the green light will flash during treatment cycles as an indication. When the battery is completely depleted, Pulsar will power off automatically after 5 seconds. When replacement is needed, use AA alkaline battery. Be environmentally friendly and purchase a set of rechargeable AA batteries. NiMH batteries, composed of nickel metal hydride, are recommended.

To install or change the battery in your Pulsar, follow these instructions:

1. Remove the back panel cover by sliding it off in the direction of the printed arrow.

2. Remove the used battery from the battery holder.

3. Install a new AA battery according to the symbols located on the battery holder.

4. Replace the back panel cover by sliding it back on until it snaps into place.
